Phone Support Technician

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Phone Support Technician to join our client in Chandler AZ.

Job Responsibilities:

- Provides first level phone support to end-users on software and hardware related challenges
- Customer interaction includes; phone and remote control to facilitate problem resolution
- Troubleshoots and resolves hardware and software challenges
- Installs, tests; software and hardware at the technical bench
- Work with service request software (LANDesk) to prioritize, document and resolve support calls
- Receiving, prioritizing, assigning, completing, assisting and documenting Help Desk service calls
- Troubleshoot and support; desktop, laptop, printers and various peripherals
- Install and maintain computer related hardware and software applications
- Assisting the Desktop Technicians to audit hardware and software inventory as requested
- AD user objects password reset and account creation as required

Job Qualifications:

- Exceptional Customer Service Skills
- Proficient customer service phone skills
- Proficient with Microsoft desktop operating systems (XP and Windows 7)
- Proficient installing Microsoft Suites and various business software applications
- Proficient troubleshooting shooting computer hardware and peripherals
- Proficient software troubleshooting skills
- Proficient Spyware and Mal-Ware removal techniques
- Proficient typing skills
- Knowledgeable with basic networking troubleshooting skills
- Knowledgeable with 3rd party software for printing
- Knowledgeable of messaging software
- Knowledgeable of various service request ticket tracking systems
- Knowledgeable of customer training to prevent Virus, Spyware and Mal-ware infections
- Knowledgeable of tape rotation methodology
- Knowledgeable using standard hardware tools, meters, network cable testers and utility software applications
