Description:

Principal business analyst position to support a custom data conversion from multiple systems into a federal financial management system.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Define custom data conversion requirements to include analysis, data mappings, and concrete plans for conversion scripts using Oracle 11g Databases running on Red Hat Linux 5 Servers.
- Estimate scope and duration of custom script executions.
- Work closely with technical and functional analysts to evaluate SQL database conversion scripts to ensure data integrity.
- Define comprehensive reconciliation scripts to verify converted data integrity.
- Plan for tuning and performance optimization of SQL Scripts to ensure consistency while reducing runtimes.
- Work with database analyst to define DDL changes to improve conversion speed.
- Assist team members with queries.
- Import, Export, backup, and restore databases.
- Run mock conversions and keep detailed documentation regarding the conversion expected and actual results.
- Document conversion guide that details plan of action for conversion.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- US Citizen ability to be cleared at the TS/SCI CI Poly level.
- A four-year degree in finance, accounting, or technical field or equivalent experience.
- 10-12 years related experience.
- Experience with Federal financial management systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience using SQL.
