As an Operations Manager at Benefitfocus, you will play a key role in managing operational support and communications with Benefitfocus clients. You will work with a dynamic group of business professionals in an environment where your input and efforts are valued and rewarded. You will collaborate with Benefitfocus Engineering, Project Management and Client Services teams to ensure the delivery of high quality application features that will provide the maximum benefit to our clients. The Operations Manager serves as the primary point of contact for ongoing software and operational support. You will communicate and respond to change requests, manage global issues and resolution, provide weekly reporting of performance guarantees and membership reports, and be an integral point of contact during software testing and post production. The Operations Manager will be expected to:
  • Manage projects focusing on continuous improvement of Benefitfocus software applications and data exchange processes
  • Communicate new software releases
  • Collaborate with our clients on new functionality of Benefitfocus products
  • Handle application issues and resolve global issues
  • Prioritize tasks and keep a continuous relationship your client and internal resources
  • Assist in creating and conducting presentations during onsite client visits
  • Maintain ongoing operations calls and a log of operational issues and enhancements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • BA/BS degree required
  • Minimum of four years proven success in a Client Relationship Management/Account Management role
  • Experience with benefit plans/structures or benefits software
  • Excellent time management skills; able to manage project timelines and deliverables
  • An aptitude for analysing and researching client issues independently
  • Strong problem solving, negotiation and follow-up skills
  • Proven ability to work with process development and improvement initiatives
  • Experience working with Software as a Service (SaaS)/web-based applications
  • Experience working in a high growth software/technology environment
