Oracle Technology Lead (with Informatica)

Yoh has a direct hire opportunity for an Oracle Technology Lead (with Informatics) to join our Financial Services client in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Job Responsibilities:

- Provide technical lead direction on overall architecture and strategy of the current Oracle systems
- Provide leadership on setting and maintaining development and documentation standards
- Assist team members with questions and decision making
- Write or update code documentation, implementation instructions and integration tests for applications
- Maintain and support data staging and ingestion processes
- Design, develop, analyze and implement Oracle forms and reports, database applications and database objects
- Work with other leaders of the Oracle management team to manage work demand and coordinate assignments across the development teams
- Produce technical documentation in accordance with SDLC guidelines
- Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and improve existing database applications and database objects
- Develop database procedures and packages
- Optimize the existing jobs using SQL/PL-SQL tuning methodologies
- Develop UNIX Shell scripts

Job Qualifications:

- Eight to ten (8-10) years of experience working in complex projects
- Senior experience and comprehensive proficiency with Informatica in a Oracle Data Warehouse/BI environment
- The candidate should also have extensive development expertise with Oracle forms and PL/SQL databases, including stored procedures, database triggers and database packages.
- Minimum of five years of experience with Data Warehousing/Informatica
- Exposure to the new features of V9 and Exposure to Informatica Developer for Profiling and Data Analysis required
- Experience working with UNIX/LINUX environments
- Has a good understanding on data model concepts, need them to also understand how the data model works
- Key skills:

- Technical lead experience- The candidate must have experience being a technical lead and with assigning and managing work efforts for a development group.
- Oracle Technology expertise
- Informatica/Datwarehouse experience of five (5) plus years
- Financial experience (brokerage, retirement plans, etc.)
