Full-time position = SAP-CO Sr. Business Analyst. $90 - 110K. Our client is 100 years old, based in the USA, and in their Mfg niche, one of the largest in the world.
SAP requirements:
- 5 to 7 years, functional, experience in SAP-CO
- 60% of your time focuses on SAP-CO and you will be responsible for: Product Costing (PC), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Profitability Analysis (PA), Internal Orders (I/O), Material Ledger (ML), Activity Based Coding (ABC), Consolidation (CS).
- SAP-CO experience in a, global, manufacturing company
- Cross functional experience in Finance and Accounting with experience in SAP Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) Collections Management & Credit Management, and OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM)
- Experience with Financial budgeting and consolidation tools
Duties:
- Focuses and takes ownership of SAP Controlling modules in a global SAP landscape
- Evaluates user request for new or modified systems or applications to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current system, computer capabilities, and impact on business.
- Consults with user to identify current operating procedures and clarify objectives.
- Provide guidance to user community to aid in meeting business goals.
- Reads manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn ways to develop programs that meet user requirements.
- Formulates plan outlining steps required to develop program and submits plan to user for approval.
- Prepares flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate sequence of steps program must follow and to describe logical operations involved.
- Develops necessary systems specifications in the form of table layouts, indices, logic definition, data base growth rates, flow charts and other descriptive documentation sufficiently to allow programming to occur.
- Designs computer terminal screen, reports, displays, files, etc.
- Reads computer printouts or observes display screen to detect syntax or logic errors during program test, or uses diagnostic software to detect errors.
- Replaces, deletes, or modifies codes to correct errors.
- Analyzes, reviews, and alters program to increase operating efficiency, response time or to adapt to new requirements.
- Writes documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections.
- Accepts feedback from users on required changes to system and make changes as required.
- Assists users to solve operating problems such that original business objective is met.
