Currently, we are seeking a SQL Server DBA that would enjoy working for our client in a 24/7 large, production environment!
Ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years experience with SQL Database Administration (NOT Development). Performance tuning, optimization, maintenance, support, etc.
- 3+ years of experience with SQL Server 2000 family (2008 preferred and 2012 a plus)
- Microsoft Best Practices for SQL Server Configuration.
- Experience with Database Planning and Design, Set-up, Maintenance, Performance Tuning, and Partitioning
- Experience in Database Backup, Recovery, Replication and Disaster Recovery
- Extensive experience Creating and Optimizing Database Queries, Indexes, Stored
Procedures, Triggers, and Reports - Must be able to demonstrate experience managing the set up and upgrades of complex databases, including interfacing with source control and change control in order to generate creation, upgrade, and maintenance scripts
