RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for analyzing complex business problems and deriving solutions based on Microsoft Visual Studios 2012 and .NET technology.
  • Completes technical design documentation, coding, interface development and unit testing with no guidance.
  • Assists in coaching other new developers on technical skills.
  • Reports to Project Team Lead of Application Development.
  • Coaches/mentors others on coding, testing, implementation, technology, emerging trends.
  • Interacts in a constructive manner with co-workers in order to create a synergy to develop business solutions.
  • Independently analyzes and designs complex business problems by communicating with business users and other technical team members.
  • Documents solutions in a Technical Design Document that may be given to others for coding and unit testing.
  • Completes coding and unit testing work based on Technical Designs.
SKILLS:

Required:
  • BA in Computer Science or related area.
  • VB Script and VB .Net development in Visual Studios 2012
  • The ability to complete projects, creating results for the company.
  • Experience designing, coding, testing and implementing the latest Microsoft Technology
  • C# .NET (2008/2010/2012)
  • SQL Server & Transaction SQL
  • .Net Framework (2008/2010/2012)
  • Team Foundation Server
  • Source Code Manager
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Must be self motivated and reliable

Preferred:
  • Experience working with Business Back Office coding (ie Billing, Credit, Work Orders, Finance, etc)
  • IBM MQ
  • Desktop & Server coding (Not Internet & ASP)
  • VB .NET 2012
  • VB Script (Excel or any other VBA usage is a plus)
  • Working with large databases
  • Working with large teams and understanding of sharing source code
  • Test Manager experience
