Help Desk Technician

$30-$55K plus bonus potential up to 20%
Position is located in the Streeterville neighborhood in Chicago.
Responsibilities:
-Design and implement IT solutions for clients.
-Designs document and maintain client infrastructure.
-Design document and implement client backup and disaster recovery systems.
-Monitor client systems performance and reliability.
Qualifications:
-Ability to troubleshoot general IT issues.
-Familiarity with desktop and Workstation support.
-Familiarity with support of common business applications such as Spyware, Microsoft Office, Anti-Virus, and backup software.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-A proven customer service record dealing with clients in a dynamic environment.
-Excellent problem solving skills.
-Familiarity with network connectivity technology such as Routers, Switches, DSL, T1, W-Fi, Firewalls, VPN's and the like a plus.
-A proven knowledge of network protocols and applications such as DHCP, DNS, SNMP, SMTP, FTP, NSLOOKUP and POP a plus.
