Role Summary/Purpose

In your role as IT Support Analyst you will work on the implementation and ongoing maintenance of operational and production support activities for the new on-line banking platform and related IT systems. You will set the strategic direction for the maintenance and support of core banking and call center systems, and liaise with IT leaders, project teams and business analysts to integrate new or enhanced application solutions into support processes.

Essential Responsibilities:

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Coordinate new development, testing and deployment of critical fixes and enhancements to the banking system, and ensure consistency and integration of support with existing application systems.
  • Work closely with business teams, vendors and key IT stakeholders to identify and implement service level agreements to track and improve application performance and reliability; partner with key vendors and suppliers to ensure successful support of hosted systems and on-time delivery of service requests.
  • Improve performance, availability and manageability of core banking and call center systems across their full life cycle, and identify and recommend cost-saving and improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure system integrity and help establish operational metrics and audit procedures to drive post-implementation improvement efforts that enhance performance and increase overall functionality.
  • Develop and implement operational standards and procedures that support retail banking and call center systems, and act as the primary IT contact for 24/7 support for retail banking systems and its environment.
  • Develop and manage regulatory and compliance procedures and controls for the banking system, and manage maintenance of system documentation and application control plans (and associated metrics).

Qualifications/Requirements:

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or 4 years equivalent work experience) with 2+ years IT experience OR 6+ years IT experience without a Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years' experience with project management, and execution of multiple simultaneous and/or small projects.
  • 2+ years' use of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 19 OF THE FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT.
