Major financial firm is seeking a Java developer with core Java skills to design, analyze, develop, test, debug and model the system components necessary.
Responsibilities:
Perform code reviews and assist the team in supporting the application in all required environments.
Provide estimates for user stories and participate in backlog prioritization
Develop and implement best practices across the entire project team, practicing continuous process improvement.
Provide status reports.
Required skills:
Core Java skills
Experience designing and implementing n-Tier systems
Strong experience utilizing standalone Spring Framework integration
3-5 years. of programming/application development experience utilizing Java/J2EE
Strong Object Oriented Analysis and design skills
Good SQL sills
JMS experience (QPID, MQ, UM, etc.)
Experience in UI development with FLEX/HTML5/CSS/JavaScript etc.
Experience with Tomcat, Apache and Maven
Experience with Twitter Bootstrap or similar framework
Experience with stat modelling
JBPM or other business process modelling
Agile development experience
Continuous integration experience
Java, Spring, Hibernate, with UI experience.
