Position Summary:

Crowe's Merger & Acquisition Integration (M&AI) practice helps clients efficiently and effectively combine two companies into one entity in terms of people and culture, functional area business processes and systems/technology.

We are looking for a Manager in the M&A Integration practice leads workstreams of major corporate merger integration projects.

Essential duties will vary and include:

Develop M&A integration plans that support the business objectives, timelines, budgets, resources pool, milestones, deliverables and end-of-integration success criteria

Lead the Integration Management Office (IMO)

Lead integration teams to realize synergies and/or execute functional area transitions

Drive day-to-day execution of the overall integration process, including coaching cross-functional teams and leading weekly integration team meetings to ensure activity plans remain relevant and are being executed

Implement the integration scorecard to track progress toward goals

Prepare and conduct project status reports to update executive management regularly on progress, risks and issues Additionally, a Manager:

Manages project execution to achieve project deliverables within the budget

Provides direction, oversight and coaching to junior consultants

Reviews deliverables prepared by other project team members to assure quality

Qualifications:

Skill sets required include:

Consulting skills: ability to function in an ambiguous, unstructured, fast moving and rapidly changing environment, make quick sense of it and add value beyond just a task-oriented doer or project manager; strong oral and written communication skills; superior problem solving and analytical skills.

Project Management Technical Skills: strong understanding of critical PM concepts such as activity plans, milestones, task dependencies, risk and issue tracking, status reporting.

Minimum Qualifications: (including years of experience preferred) 8 - 12 years' experience, including the following:

Previous experience with major mergers & acquisitions

Expertise in Sales functional area with demonstrated results in revenue enhancement: eg sales force effectiveness, territory alignment, incentives, customer/channel management, product portfolio optimization, promotions

Previous experience in Corporate Development or management consulting

Proven track record in Program/Project Management

Education: BS/BA Required, MBA strongly preferred.

Must be willing to travel 80 - 100%.

Locations: Chicago, IL or offsite
