The individual filling this role will be part of a team providing SAP infrastructure & system administration expertise, as well as providing strategic guidance to clients.

Avanade is seeking an SAP Integration Architect to design and deliver SAP integration solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies.

Description

Candidate will part of a team providing SAP integration expertise and strategic guidance to clients. The role requires the candidate to implement solutions based upon Microsoft .NET and SAP NetWeaver technologies. The candidate is required to have a thorough knowledge of SAP development and integration technologies including ABAP, ALE/IDoc, BAPIs/RFCs, BDC, Enterprise Portal (EP), and some SAP functional experience (preferably HR, MM, SD, and/or FI/CO). The applicant is also required to have a strong development & EAI background.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

- 3+ years of SAP experience; 2+ years MS development experience
- Deep knowledge & application experience with ABAP, ALE/IDoc, BAPIs/RFCs, BDC, Web services, SAP Enterprise Portal (EP), and other SAP interfacing mechanisms.
- Deep application development or EAI experience - (C#/Java/C++/VB/etc.) or (Microsoft BizTalk/SeeBeyond ICAN/BEA WebLogic/Tibco/Vitria/etc.).
- Strong knowledge & application experience with MS SharePoint, SQL, & .NET

- 4+ years technology consulting experience
- Demonstrate outstanding communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with senior executives
- Travel is required for this role.

Preferred Requirements

- BS Computer Science, MIS, or comparable degree
