Responsible for leading a high performing team and building out a new product roadmap focused on meeting the needs of U.S. Cellular's business customers. Lead a focused effort on building out connected solutions for U.S. Cellular's business customers and a related go to market strategy. Manage an evolving portfolio of business customer offerings, develop and implement enhancements and ensure service offering is aligned with overall company business strategy. This role will partner closely with the business channel to ensure we are meeting their financial objectives.
Provides leadership, coaching, and guidance on a continuous basis to team members in the areas of leadership, communication, and product management
Clearly communicates expectations of team members and holds team accountable to assigned deliverables.
Drives the overall vision and is the interface to the business channel on ensuring we are meeting the needs of their customers and driving solutions to meet their objectives
Leads overall management of business solutions process, device certification and program portfolio, including launch of new devices, programs, maintenance and enhancements of existing, vendor relationships and life/close-out strategies.
Drive the refinement and development of the business solutions roadmap
Oversee the tactical launch of new service offerings
Lead the definition and communication of the product strategy based on market research, competitive analysis, technology roadmaps, and vendor interaction
Assist in the development of business requirements for new and existing services
Review existing technologies and their effectiveness to meet business needs
Work with the vendor community on specific product needs to improve the service offering and/or enhance its deployment
Oversee execution of new product launch projects from initial concept and business case development through design, build, test, and implementation
Provide technical and organizational guidance during the implementation of new and existing products
Assist sales team with RFP's and gathering customer requirements as needed by participating on conference calls or visiting Enterprise customers as required
Oversee the portfolio of business solutions to help manage the lifecycle short and long term strategy
Create go to market strategy
Provide strategy, direction and goals for merchandising, advertising, point of sale and marketing communication efforts, including mechanisms to measure ROI.
Oversee the dissemination and maintenance of associate and customer communications as it relates to the business product roadmap
Analyze financial results and take appropriate actions to ensure operational excellence and achieving annual goals. Develop and execute to key financial and business targets/metrics.
Develop, analyze & recommend launch, maintenance and post mortem pricing structures (including promotional pricing).
Track, analyze and communicate key metrics.
Through strategy development, providing direction and goal setting, ensure successful facilitation of focus groups, surveys and presentation, both pre- and post launch of new product/system/features in order to gather feedback for continuous improvement and to stay close to customers.
Successfully execute go to market, launch, maintenance and close-out marketing strategies and programs.
Provide content and direction for training. In some instances, lead development of training.
Recognized as the Subject Matter Expert for all aspects of product/service.
Coach and mentor junior members of the team.
Ability to successfully lead across organizational boundaries, including strong relationship management skills.
Ability to prioritize resources within the team to achieve business goals
Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to lead diverse and cross functional groups, including outside vendors.
Strong team orientation, both internal and external, with the ability to coach and mentor regardless of reporting relationships.

Financial analysis, financial root cause investigation and development of solutions/action plans to minimize risks and take advantage of opportunities.
Demonstrated creativity and effectiveness in marketing programs including but not limited to promotions, marketing communications, point of sale, etc.

Ability to analyze issues, develop and deploy solutions within a dynamic environment.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including speaking in front of small and large groups
Strong time and project schedule management skills required to consistently meet deadlines and ensure preparedness for launch or implementation of products, services or initiatives.
Well organized, strong administrative and detail oriented skills.
Education and/or professional experience necessary:
Minimum of 8-10 years in product management, product development, sales and/or marketing preferably in a business to business market. Professional experience within the software or telecommunications industry or with a wireless voice/data service provider a plus. Five or more years managing teams.
BA/BS Marketing, Business. Technical undergraduate education with business/product management professional experience will be considered.
Preference to MBA and/or equivalent work experience.
Advanced experience with standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
