    Role Summary/Purpose

    In your role as Senior Security Analyst you will be responsible for the overall security of the GE Capital Bank online banking platform, and provide architectural guidance for all aspects of information security for both online and mobile banking customers. You will also closely interact with the security teams at major internal affiliates that provide various security services to the Bank.

    Essential Responsibilities: Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Provide security architectural guidance for an online banking platform with a focus on authentication technologies, mobile application security, continuous deployment, and secure coding practices.
  • Lead implementation and ongoing oversight of brand protection activities such as Internet domain/social media monitoring, email authentication (DMARC), and Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) mitigation.
  • Evaluate and provide management recommendations on emerging and available Information Security technologies, products, and services.
  • Provide strategic security guidance and thought leadership across the organization in order to fulfil business and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that the appropriate level of security awareness is being driven across the organization.
  • Act as an internal liaison in the performance of application security assessments, supplier security reviews, and external penetration testing.
  • Evaluate and communicate any and all (banking industry) security risks and solutions to executive management, operational teams, and IT management/staff.
  • Build strong working relationships with GE Capital and GE Corporate Security teams.

  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of IT experience
