Description

Provide projections and estimates for self as well as junior resources.

Report and track discovered defects/issues.

Prepare test execution reports and/or status reports.

Schedule and allocate local and remote resources.

Create and revise Test Plans.

Analyze requirements and define test cases that verify the functional sections of the software.

Design and execute test cases including automated tests.

Investigate and recommend tool use, process improvements, and industry innovations

Implement test automation for functional, load, and scalability testing.

Maintain test cases and related resources (test data, expected results, execution reports, etc) with minimal supervision.

Perform the collection and reporting of metrics/statistics on the test application under test.

Work with Professional Services and Support staff to reproduce and report escalated issues.

Perform other duties as requested and assigned.

Qualifications

5+ years experience in Software Quality Assurance.

Degree or equivalent experience in computer sciences or information technology.

A detailed understanding of Quality Assurance and the SDLC.

Experience using a primary computer language (such as VB.NET, JAVA, C/C++/C#).

Experience with Test Automation tools (Microsoft Coded UI, Selenium, QTP, etc).

Experience with CRM systems, IIS, SQL Server, network Connectivity and network security is considered assets.

Experience executing performance and load tests, analyzing results and identifying bottlenecks

Experience writing SQL queries

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Experience with tools: Visual Studio, MSTest, SQL Server, MSTest, Wireshark

Experience with VCS, Issue tracking and Continuous Integration Systems. We currently use TFS for all of these.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Must possess strong analytical skills.

Must be detail oriented.

Must be able to work independently.
