Major trading firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trade Application Support Engineer with industry experience supporting Back End trading applications.
Responsibilities:
- Support, configure and troubleshoot multiple proprietary, Linux based trading applications.
- Handle daily administration of applications including, system monitoring, administration and upgrades.
- Design and manage implementation
- Perform application analysis, testing, log parsing to diagnose possible issues with systems.
Qualifications:
- Must have 7-10yrs of trading application support.
- Must be supporting Back End trading applications in current role for trading firm.
- Must have Linux and SQL experience.
- Strong troubleshooting experience.
- Knowledge of trading exchanges and understanding of financial instruments a plus
- Strong understanding of machine and operating system architecture.
- Scripting language knowledge Shell, Python, Perl or Powershell.
