The Akamai Services and Support team is an experienced group of industry experts and Internet technologists working with the top Financial Services, Digital Media, Commerce, and High-Tech companies in North America. From a range of backgrounds across these key verticals, they engage with our customers to consult on industry best practices, design and build quality solutions, and always maintain the highest quality customer service.

Responsibilities:

Solutions Engineers (SEs) are the technical arm of the America's field sales team who employ industry expertise to diagnose the business and technical needs of customers and prescribe innovative solutions that meet those needs. As part of an integrated account team support model, SEs work closely with Sales to acquire new customers and expand our positions within existing customers. SEs also work with Professional Services, Business Support and Technical Support to ensure the value received from Akamai products, services and support meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Qualifications:

We are looking to develop an active pipeline of talented, smart and energetic Solution Engineers in NY, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, Seattle, and San Mateo.

If you enjoy consulting with external clients, and have a technical foundation with HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, and Web Servers we would like to hear from you!
