Job Summary:


The Project Manager will be responsible for tracking, analyzing and modeling Business Services results for the Mid West Market. Act as a liaison between the West Region Business Operations process managers and the Business Intelligence analyst team. Will assist in the coordination of project management activities with key departments to ensure commercial market expansion and sales goals are met.

Essential Job Functions:

- Project management of the Commercial network expansion activity for the Texas market.

- Collaborate with Sr. level personnel in Business Operations on project management activities for recommended process and tactical initiatives across the West region.

- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of New Market Development (NMD) activity. Develop reports and analytics for Sr. level executives. To include KPI metric results, tracking of progress of penetrations, revenue attainment, and PSU results.

- Collaborate with peers in other functional areas to ensure information is being delivered and made available to the proper business leaders. Serve as communication point between project teams and senior leadership to effectively communicate project status.

- Network with key departments, such as Finance, Marketing, Sales, Construction and Engineering to help drive market penetration. Actively participates with cross-functional groups to solve problems, build support and secure buy-in for desired objectives.

- Resolve issues affecting project scope, quality, effort, risk and schedules. Creates and manages contingency plans for projects assigned.

- Handle broad-based and complex communications for internal and/or external audiences. Handles and resolves conflicts to maximize opportunities and minimize exposure to risk.

Job Requirements:

- A bachelor's degree with business major or equivalent combination of experience and education required.

- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of cable experience, telecom or related experience

- Demonstrate a magnitude and scope of decisions that can be made without a higher level of approval.

- Demonstrates strong verbal/written communication skills, strong computer (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc,) as well as presentation and customer facing experience,

- Self-motivated problem solver, able to work with minimal supervision; team player.

- Demonstrates ability and experience in utilizing good judgment, problem solving, decision making and negotiation skills required. The ability to collaborate and find win-win solutions through good communications and consensus is vital.

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent work experience

- 2 - 4 years in project management, business analytics and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Project management experience and certifications, up to and including PMP is preferred.

Travel Requirements:

The successful candidate must be able and willing to travel in overseeing and managing multiple aspects of Market Development insuring the company, department and personal objectives are being achieved. Travel may require overnight stays. Weekend travel may occasionally be required.
