Johnson & Johnson Information Technology is recruiting an IT Manager, Commercial for its Sedasys Franchise in the Medical Devices & Diagnostics sector. In partnership with Sedasys Commercial Leadership, the position will provide IT strategic and operational support for the Sedation business unit. This position will be responsible for working with Sedasys IT and Commercial management defining the IT portfolio of projects, delivering IT capabilities and projects, and ensuring support for new and existing platforms.

The Manager, IT will be responsible for: IT business relationship for Commercial Sedasys; Taking direction from Sedasys IT leadership to ensure alignment with overall Sedasys goals; Partnering with IT shared services organizations and partners to ensure priorities and needs are fulfilled within agreed upon terms; Deliver IT programs on-time, on-budget that realize the promised business value; Working with business partners to develop the commercial roadmap in a two way dialog, understanding the business strategy and how IT can help, and transmitting the IT strategy and gaining business leaders alignment; Driving project alignment and prioritization across the commercial business, IT and partner teams and ensuring the environment for success exists; Customer engagement in all projects is a critical aspect; Supporting alignment and prioritization across J&J and MD&D IT as needed; IT compliance for Sedasys applications ensuring processes are in place to ensure compliance (WICO, HIPAA, FDA, SOX); Understanding and maintaining validated environments.

Qualifications

A BS/BA Degree is required. A minimum of 3 years of relevant IT experience is required. A track record in program/project delivery and in managing organizations to deliver project results is required. Experience in relevant methodologies such as (but not exclusive to) Systems Development Life Cycle, Portfolio Management, DMAIIC, ITIL, etc. is required. A track record of IT strategy work, people leadership, experience in planning and managing the IT finances of significantly sized organizations/projects is required. Ability to operate effectively with partner IT organizations (eg, Application Services, Infrastructure) as well as with third-party IT organizations (eg, IBM, Sogetti, etc.) is required.

A strong knowledge and understanding of the Sales and Marketing and Commercial processes, procedures and systems is preferred. Experience with Salesforce.com is preferred. Strong knowledge and understanding of the following areas is preferred: Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, Clinical, Regulatory, and Finance. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and decisively with business leaders at the Operating Company management board level, as well as all individual contributor and manager levels in the organization is required.
