eCommerce Strategy Analyst - eGov department



Position Summary:


An exciting opportunity exists within the eGov department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland to work as an eCommerce Strategy Analyst. The successful candidate will provide research, consulting and analytical support in the development of the overall E-commerce strategy for the U. S. Treasury. The individual will also research existing and upcoming payment solutions, vendors, and processes; determine how they fit into the Federal government's landscape of remittance and collection processing; conduct cost benefit analysis and implementation recommendations.

Essential Accountabilities:

  • Performs consulting, evaluation and analysis necessary to provide support to the U.S. Treasury's eCommerce strategy
  • Conducts product development research through online research, consultation with vendors and subject matter experts and knowledge sharing of ideas and best practices on payments processing technologies and payment automation processes (ie Remote Deposit Capture Forum, The Association for Work Process Improvement and NACHA).
  • Maintains knowledge of payments processing initiatives in the marketplace, including alternative forms of payment, electronic bill presentment and payments, online banking initiatives, mobile banking and payments, including all technologies and vendors in this space.
  • Develops presentations, webinars, and white papers on implementation of new technologies in the Federal government collection processing stream -- including detailed alternatives analysis and recommendations.
  • Presents analysis and recommendations to senior executives within the Federal Reserve System and at the US Treasury.
  • Coordinates and communicates with appropriate channels regarding the implementation of new solutions.
