Entry Level Manual QA Tester

Our is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst that knows how to gather business requirements form the end user, develop requirement documents and then manually test those requirements. This person will be responsible for the quality assurance within an assigned area of responsibility. They will develop acceptance and regression test plans and test cases, executes acceptance tests; then analyzes and interprets test results to determine if the desired business result was achieved.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participates in production implementation, verifications and accountable for validating particular enhancements.
• Plans, writes, develops, executes and verifies test plans.
• Plans, documents, evaluates, and tracks program testing results to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
• Do preliminary analysis to determine sources of discrepancies between actual and expected results.
• Provide 1st level help desk support as needed.
• Provide customer support and maintain production software as needed.
• Provide testing support for systems compliance updates.
• Responsible for determining test requirements based on project specifications
• Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes, and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and functionality.
• Train and support clients in new processes as needed.
• Analyzes and identifies the source of application problems and works with other analysts and IT to successfully resolve application problems.
• Provide status to team leads and project managers
• Deliver classroom and online(WebEx) training courses as needed.
