Our Client, a well known bank in the Downtown Cleveland area is looking for a Contract Instructional Designer who is responsible for the design and development of learning solutions. Employs effective project management skills to ensure smooth training solution development.
Design learning solutions as directed for multiple client groups based on business and performance objectives developed by the training teams.
Develop instructional project plans for review and approval.
Develop instructional materials, including WBT (Flash, ProForm, Dreamweaver), instructor and participant guides, quick reference guides and self-study materials (InDesign, Word, PPT).
Consults with EDC leadership regarding the best approach to project completion as necessary.
Prepares clear learning objectives that reflect the required performance.
Collaborates with EDC Instructional Designers, Business Training Managers, SMEs and others to create instructional content that effectively engages the learner.
Builds effective client relationships.
Works in a project team environment, in a complex corporate setting.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
At least 5 years experience with instructional systems design (ISD) processes and the ADDIE model, including advanced knowledge of instructional design methodology, adult learning theory and measurement criteria.
At least 3 years experience developing technology based learning solutions. instructor led, self-study, and web-based instruction.
Demonstrated ability to apply training evaluation models in corporate context.
Experience in developing learning objectives, detailed content outlines, storyboards, collecting and editing graphics, and building all graphic layout and navigation in an instructionally sound and highly interactive format
Excellent interpersonal skills, especially written and communicational skills.
