Senior Infrastructure Virtualization Consultant

• Requires 5 to 10 years minimum experience as a Senior Infrastructure Virtualization Consultant with previous and current hands-on technical design and implementation with successful proven experience in complex project planning and delivery, detailed documentation construction, and infrastructure design across multiple technology areas; on-site client interaction with technical staff to executive level with prior pre-sales experience and consultative communication skills for assistance in selling and scoping strategic consulting engagements and knowledgeable of strategic infrastructure modernization assessments, business continuity planning and design, strategic and tactical product selection and five-year implementation roadmaps. 
• Experience in virtualization technologies including VMWare vSphere and Citrix XenApp.
• Experience in Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems.
• Experience in Microsoft Exchange or Lotus Notes messaging platforms.
• Experience with Industry standard Servers including HP Proliant, HP Bladesystem, Virtual Connect, Flex Fabric, Cisco UCS, Fabric Interconnects, IBM Xseries and related Servers.
• Experience in Midrange computing platforms including HP Integrity, IBM P-Series, and SUN Sparc.
• Experience in server clustering including native operating system clusters
• Experience in database platforms including clustered SQL or Oracle implementations.
• Experience in automated server provisioning or deployment technologies.
• Server architecture experience in cluster and failover design, resiliency testing, application load balancing, and automated recovery procedures
• High level experience in server troubleshooting, root cause diagnosis, problem remediation and analytical problem solving/troubleshooting and resolving performance problem/issues.
• Active Directory and platform management in architectural design, Embedded services including DNS, DHCP, security, trusts, and remote access.
• System management in patch application, performance monitoring, log centralization, capacity management, software installation, and license control.

CERTIFICATIONS PREFERRED:

• HP ASE Hardware platform Certifications Preferred
• Windows MCSE, RedHat RHCE Operating platform Certifications Preferred. 
• VMware VCP Virtualization platform Certifications Preferred 

• EDUCATION: Four-year BS in Computer Science or related field. 
• START DATE: ASAP
• SALARY: $6 figure salary/competitive base salary + performance-based bonus + Full Benefits package w/Flexible spending account options, mileage reimbursement and more.
