About the Opportunity
Job Description:

Senior Business Intelligence Developer with 5 + years of hands-on experience in designing complex reports and analytical dashboards using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition platform (OBIEE)

Responsibilities:

1. Execute the design, development, and implementation of new Business Intelligence solutions and enhancements for existing BI publisher reporting application systems for multiple projects at a time.
2. Work with business users to understand their needs and help them define the reporting requirements, including report definition, layout, business rules, and documentation.
3. Execute unit and integrated system testing on programming changes to ensure viability and accuracy by creating test cases and carrying out peer review.
4. Communicate with team members on best practices for design, development, trouble shooting, testing, and implementation. Conduct code and quality reviews of deliverables produced by the team.
5. Configure OBIEE, Oracle WebLogic/Fusion Middleware to support integration with other systems, such as LDAP directory servers
6. Administer all facets of the BI Publisher reporting implementation - Data definitions, Template definitions, document delivery and performance tuning
7. Administer OBIEE development, QA and production environments and participate in on call rotation for OBIEE infrastructure support.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, debug, tune and optimize report performance
9. Develop OBIEE Metadata Repository including the physical layer, business model mapping, and presentation layer for various subject areas. Serve as a subject matter expert for OBIEE, demonstrate expertise in Oracle BI Server, Oracle BI Answers, Oracle BI Interactive Dashboard, Oracle BI Publisher, and Oracle BI Delivers.

Requirements:

* 5+ years of hands-on experience with OBIEE platform (experience with the 11g version preferred).
* Strong Oracle BI Publisher hands-on experience - Knowledge of XML, XSL and XSLT transformation. Experience developing BI Publisher RTF and Excel Templates using custom xml, XSL and xslt tags.
* Expert in configuring and managing OBI Server, Oracle BI Answers and Dashboards, iBots, SSO integration and Analytics Metadata objects
* Strong understanding of the data warehousing, transactional and dimensional modeling and end-to-end analysis of OBIEE issues
* Strong Oracle SQL and PLSQL hands-on experience
* Strong Experience with OBIEE metadata development.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to work in a team environment is critical.
* Experience with financial reporting using OBIEE preferred.
* Bachelor's degree in information management, computer sciences or related area.
