Active Network's Ski and Attractions business unit provides industry-leading enterprise software to ski resorts, parks, and attractions. Our fully integrated software solutions include: ticket and pass sales, RFID access control, food and beverage, inventory retail and rental solutions, activity management, snow sport school and business performance management. This our enterprise point of sale software suite called RTP-ONE also provides some Back End solutions for purchase order and accounts receivable management. RTP-ONE, is an n-tier application built using the .NET Framework in C#. It is a highly scalable solution leveraging SQL Server technology for data access and reporting (Microsoft Reporting Services) serving many of today's leading resort and recreation management companies.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

ActiveNetwork is looking for a Senior Web Application Developer to implement user interfaces for the RTP-ONE flagship enterprise software product suite. This engineer should be very versed in cutting edge Javascript practices including: high end performance, templating, ajax-driven UIs, etc. To accompany the web-behavior skills, the candidate should be very familiar with what HTML5 and CSS3 have to offer including: new semantic html5 tags and their behavioral APIs that come along with them (ex: audio, video, geolocation, sockets, etc.), gradients, shadowing, fixed positioning, web fonts, etc.

All of our projects will likely have NodeJS and Microsoft MVC backends so an understanding of those disciplines is also helpful. This position reports to the Manager of Software Development and is responsible for delivering solutions for the RTP-ONE product suite.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Work with user experience designers and visual designers to design and implement user interfaces.
-Work with other API realization teams to develop functionality following existing style and coding standards.
-Interact across the software development team to deliver commercial software applications that solve fun and innovative problems in the Ski & Attractions industry.
-Travel required for this position particularly to the Avon, CO Active Network Office.

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

-Previous development experience in a software company delivering commercial software products to market.
-Demonstrated track record of delivering product development projects to specification, on time.
-Comfortable in dynamic small company, start-up like environment.
-Experienced in structured Agile Scrum product development practices.
-3+ years of deep technical experience in Front End web development technologies:
