Description:

We are looking for a Software Developer to support the Core Applications Services team on the JRDC program at Schriever AFB, CO. This position is contingent on contract award.

The Software Developer implements full software life cycle including: designing, developing, implementing and maintaining applications on Microsoft Windows-based systems to support the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC) and the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Enterprise. Will write technical documents to include requirements, design plans, training materials and others. Will interact with customers to gather requirements, present design documentation, and provide training.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED:Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 8 years experience. 6 years work experience in software development. Must possess an understanding of Enterprise level applications which include troubleshooting network security issues. Specifically require experience with Windows 2003/2008, SQL Server 2005/2008, Internet Information Service (IIS) 6.0/7.0/7.5, ASP.NET, .NET, HTML, and C#. Must be experienced with the complete rewrite of existing applications. Must be able to integrate Active Directory with Windows systems and applications. Capable of handling oversight responsibilities on multiple projects with minimum guidance from supervisor. Must be able to provide briefings on areas of responsibility. Strong communication and documentation skills and an ability to translate technical data into a format understood by individuals from varied backgrounds. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Security+ certification required or the ability to obtain prior to start date. Candidate must have a DoD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain.

DESIRED:Familiarity with the MDA and BMDS programs. Experience with applications such as ColdFusion, MEF, MVVM, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), MS LINQ, and Entity Framework are a plus.
