Based in Columbia,MD with clients throughout Washington DC we are a boutique styled company in growth mode looking for developers who enjoy operating in collaborative team environments, with the next generation technology in the Web and Mobile Application Space for the intelligence industry.
We are currently looking to hire a talented Drupal Developer that possesses an advanced level experience with both Drupal and PHP web development.
What you need:
- Bachelor†s Degree
- Minimum 2+ years of professional web development experience with Drupal/PHP development
- Highly skilled at custom Drupal module development, theming, and extending pre-defined modules
-Comfortable working with Drush, multi-site, SSL, DNS, and server configuration
-Experience developing with Web Services and APIs
-Implemented or built a content migration tool to facilitate a site upgrade
-Solid foundation in the following: PHP5, HTML/CSS, Ajax/JavaScript (jQuery), and MySQL
-Demonstrated effective strategic thinking and problem solving ability
-Possess a collaborative approach to teamwork with a desire to mentor and learn
-Excellent communication skills
-Passion for open-source projects and tools
What you'll be doing:
- Work with an agile project team †balance multiple projects and collaborating closely with other Web Designers and top level managers from other departments
- Develop custom site components including module creation/adaptation and database integration
- Build scalable solutions that meet client needs †simple and elegant solutions are preferred
- React quickly to changing requirements and timelines
- Customer-Centric approach when solving business problems
