Senior Java Developer - Java, C++, Python Web Developer We provide Cyber Security and IT Services to Commercial businesses as well as the Defense and Intelligence community. We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with security clearance.
We are conveniently located near Columbia, MD and Baltimore, MD.
You will be:
- Architecting highly complex, global solutions
- Reviewing and recommending vendor approaches
- Reviews and recommends highly complex systems investment(s) to management and customers based on results of independent assessment of current and future performance, stability, and systems management/life cycle issues.
Your background includes:
- Security Clearance (TS/SCI with polygraph)
- 3 or more years of experience in software development with in-depth experience developing numerous web-based applications
- Hands on programming capabilities in C++ and/or Java with extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX and SQL
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and network programming
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms and software design
- Some familiarity with mobile development platforms to include working knowledge of iOS and Android development environments
- Experience building applications on NoSQL databases such as hBase or Accumulo
- Experience building applications on top of relational databases such as MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
- Development experience or familiarity with MapReduce and/or Storm
- Experience or familiarity with SOLR, ElasticSearch and other Lucene Indices
- Nine or more years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, operating systems programming or naval architecture
