Description
Summary
Responsible for producing and delivering fully tested computer programs from business requirements and/or program specifications on time, and according to specifications. This includes creating appropriate program documentation, and addressing operational and program discrepancies on schedule, within prescribed limits, and in accordance with client requirements and departmental standards.
Responsibilities
Completes tasks/projects accurately and in a timely manner. Assumes responsibility for task/project completion, with minimal supervision. Applies technical knowledge and skills necessary to complete and document moderately complex projects. Understands the application/area as it relates to assigned projects/tasks. Participates in the design, creation and delivery of detailed, moderately complex program specifications, and masters the programming process in both development and production support situations. Qualifications
Education/Experience
Prog Analyst II
Four year college degree and 2 or more years professional experience or 4 or more years professional experience is required. Appropriate industry experience is preferred. Master's degree in computer science, including Mainframe language courses is preferred.
Prog Analyst Sr.
Four year college degree and 4 or more years professional experience or 6 or more years professional experience is required. Appropriate industry experience is preferred. Master's degree in computer science, including Mainframe language courses is preferred.
Prog Analyst Lead
Four year college degree and 6 or more years professional experience or 8 or more years professional experience is required. Appropriate industry experience is preferred. Master's degree in computer science, including Mainframe language courses is preferred.
Prog Technical Analyst
Four year college degree and 8 or more years professional experience or 10 or more years professional experience is required. Appropriate industry experience is preferred. Master's degree in computer science, including Mainframe language courses is preferred.
