Description

Summary

Analyzes business and/or technical requirements to formulate a testing plan according to TM-M. Produces test plans and scripts necessary to satisfy business and/or technical requirements. Performs risk assessment of test designs and scenarios to mitigate risk while still meeting required timelines. Coordinates with technical and business resources to identify and correct system defects that are detected during the testing activity. Performs test analyses and issues resolutions of business and project requirements.

Responsibilities

With little or no direction, executes on-line, batch and data verification testing to validate test results. Creates test designs (on-line, batch and data verification) according to project requirements. Possesses strong working knowledge of tools used to create test designs and execute test plans. Performs test analysis on complex project requirements. Responsible for resolving complex issues identified in testing. Designs contingency plans as needed. Coordinates with technical and business resources to identify and correct system defects discovered during the testing activity. Performs risk analyses requirements for integrated testing. Demonstrates a broad knowledge of the multiple environments. Possesses the ability to edit data utilizing FileAid. Demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding of structured analysis and design as it relates to the test design. Recognizes the inter-relationships between the various functional components of the system (ie collections, posting, authorizations) and the business, technical and project requirements in order to determine the appropriate testing methodology to use during test execution and validation. May conduct test plan reviews. May review documentation such as business and technical specifications in order to ensure that the documentation is updated and accurate. Works with programming to create certain account conditions and execute special testing requirements for test validation. Works on multiple tasks during the testing activity to meet project timelines according to TM-M guidelines. May support or participate in the execution of Quality Analyst job duties. May coordinate and schedule project assignments within the team environment as needed. May supervise a limited number of team members, typically 2 to 3.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Level I :

Four year college degree and 0 years of work experience or 2 or more years professional experience is required. Appropriate TSYS experience is preferred.

Level II:

Four year college degree and 2 or more years professional experience or 4 or more years professional experience is required. Appropriate TSYS experience is preferred.

Senior Level:

Four year college degree and 4 or more years professional experience or 6 or more years professional experience is required. Appropriate TSYS experience is preferred.

Specialist Level:

Four year college degree and 6 or more years professional experience or 8 or more years professional experience is required. Appropriate TSYS experience is preferred.

Consultant Level:

Four year college degree and 8 or more years professional experience or 10 or more years professional experience is required. Appropriate TSYS experience is preferred.
