Position Summary

Summary and Purpose of Position :
Responsible for ensuring data integrity, security, reliability and performance of corporate databases within OhioHealth. Recommend, plan and implement new database technologies, modifications and enhancements as necessary, while providing architecture design, guidance and technical leadership. 2+ years of Epic Cache Administration experience required.

Minimum Qualifications

Education, Certification, Registration, License: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Field of Study: Computer Sciences Field of Study: Related Field Years of Experience: 5 to 10
Expert knowledge of database management software such as InterSystems Cache, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE Bachelor's Degree in Computer sciences or equivalent experience Expert knowledge of database management software such as: utilizing InterSystems Cache, Oracle and SQL server as well as the underlying theories of database technology.
Thorough knowledge of multiple database technologies solid knowledge of multiple infrastructure technology areas.
Ability to manage mid to large size infrastructure technology projects.
Ability to lead and help guide strategic database technology direction.
Ability to mentor and train less experienced technical staff.
Requires 5 to 10 years experience in database administration. This experience should include a combination of the following database software installation, configuration and maintenance; problem resolution; performance monitoring and tuning; capacity planning; logical and physical database design; database backup and recovery. Also requires experience in architecting solutions that will help set strategic database technology direction and vision.
