The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a National Partner Channel Manager for our National Sales Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Essential Job Functions:
The primary responsibility for this position is to identify, recruit, and develop qualified Value Added Resellers (VAR) that will generate revenue based on selling Time Warner Cable's Business Class products and services. In addition, the National Partner Channel manager's responsibilities include managing established VAR partners across the Time Warner Cable footprint. Develop strategic business plans to help drive revenue through the VAR channel.
Job Requirements:
-Recruit, Enable, and retain our qualified VAR channel partners.
-Create business plans as well as monthly/quarterly revenue targets with our VAR Partners.
-Manage a comprehensive on board training program to ensure our partners are certified to sell business class products and services.
-Responsible for all sales support that includes: assisting VAR partners to close business, sales proposals and act as a single point of contact to close large complex multi-regional deals across our footprint.
-Initiate monthly strategy meetings with the VAR's to create accurate sales pipeline reports.
- A thorough understanding of Voice (PRI, VOIP, SIP applications), Data (TDM, DS3, OCn, & multiple Ethernet services), equipment vendors (Nortel, Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, etc.), managed services and private lines is required.
-Conduct Partner presentations & generate pricing/proposals as required to support the VAR Channel.
-Key Stakeholder for receiving, responding, & answering RFP/RFI requests for our partners.
-Primary sales activity will be focused on acquisition of new revenue from the VAR channel.
-Travel requirements are estimated at approximately 25%
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of 8 years of relevant telecommunications sales and sales management experience working in a third party, reseller, or systems integrator channel. Proven track record exceeding revenue quota targets selling and managing Reseller, third party partners at a ILEC, CLEC, or a national systems integrator.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
Manager: Delegates authority to carry out work of a unit to subordinate supervisors or managers
Travel Requirements:
Travel 25 %
