About the Opportunity
Manage client and/or internal cross functional teams responsible for delivering complex project outcomes on time and with quality. Plan, organize, monitor and oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Responsible for defining, planning, tracking and managing assigned projects consistent with department policies and practices including appropriate governance

.

Responsibilities
* Translates general customer requirements into concrete strategic and tactical plans, ensuring clarity and understanding by all stakeholders
* Manages and directs multiple medium to large scale projects including the requirements, scope, detailed project plans, resources and related risks
* Works effectively and communicates with internal and external clients, third party vendors, and senior management to ensure a thorough understanding of the assigned project status
* Works closely with the Project Sponsor and stakeholders to facilitate decisions and resolve issues necessary for project delivery
* Develops and maintains lessons learned (WILs) input into the project repository for utilization on future projects. Creates or leads the creation of best practices documentation around new and undefined processes
* Resolves and/or escalates issues affecting the projects including but not limited to political, resources, legal, and timeline issues
* Ensures the consistent application of the approved project management methodology across all projects
* Ensures adherence to Project Lifecycle including the creation of Project Charters requirement documents, project timelines, risk assessment and communication criteria
* Organizes work into manageable and logical groups (work breakdown structure) and determines an effective approach to completing the work. Communicates project status, issues and risks to appropriate management
* Uses technical and functional expertise to clarify assignments and deliverables; mentor stakeholders in project management lifecycle management, and manages the integration of stakeholders work
* Involves functional/technical expertise to help resolve issues and guide key decisions
* Implements continuous improvement plans, including post project evaluations

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
* 3 - 5 years of project management experience using formal project management methodologies, techniques, and tools
* Proven experience implementing co-brand credit products.
* 3+ years of CoBrand related experience; including managing CoBrand relationships with clients and the Associations, executing program initiatives and proven knowledge and experience on the process to on-board a CoBrand credit card program.
* 3-5 years of experience in a Retail Credit environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
* Formal training in project management or willingness to pursue PMP certification
* Strong PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

DESIRABLE

* Masters Degree
* 6 - 8+ years of project management experience using formal project management methodologies, techniques, and tools to manage large, complex projects with diverse project teams
* 6 years of experience in a Retail Credit environment
* Ability to train, mentor and develop project managers in project management methodologies
* PMP Certified

* Proven experience implementing co-brand credit products.
* Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners to achieve the desired outcome
* Knowledge of and competency in project management processes

* Ability to advise and coach non specialists on complex issues

* Strong integration skills, ability to coordinate all aspects of a project
* Strong requirement analysis and management skills
