Day-to-day responsibilities would include…
1) Develop design and analysis of systems and/or programs and system implementation schedules.
2)Generate, test, and document program code. Debug and resolve moderate to complex problems.
3) Modify existing applications programs or writes new programs of moderate to high complexity and scope, working with applications systems designs and specifications and utilizing standards, procedures, and techniques.
4) Stays up to date with IT technology issues, trends and developments and communicates back to management and departments both issues and opportunities.
5) Work with IT Project Managers and Business Analysts to design and develop solutions to address business needs and opportunities, and propose changes that would improve the overall solution
6) Meet with business unit representatives to define and evaluate moderately complex business automation needs. Interpret business specifications to prepare for analysis/design functions.
We are looking for someone with experience in…
1) Object Oriented principles, Application Design, Development methodologies, Service oriented architecture
2) Experience developing ASP.NET Web Applications in Visual Studio.NET 2008/2010 using Microsoft.NET framework (2.0/4.0), VB.NET, Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008, XML, XSL, web services (ASMX and WCF)
3) HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery
4) Understanding of the ASP.NET page lifecycle, custom/user controls
5) Microsoft IIS (6.0 and 7.0)
6) Experience with relational database design and development including T-SQL, stored procedures, and SSRS
7) Experience developing Console applications and Windows Services.
8) Big plus would be experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and Microsoft BizTalk 2009
