We are currently looking for a software engineer with a combination of solid C#/.Net experience, solid Database ( SQL Server preferred) and networking ( socket level communications) to work on both a current medical device project and to help take things to the next generation on the mobile platform space for a growing, privately-held medical device/medical software company headquartered in Connecticut (Greater Bridgeport/Milford Area).
This position will be contributing to the design and implementation of our enterprise monitoring and data management solutions, more specifically medical device monitoring and data acquisition software for life support critical care applications.
If you have a background in a medical software/medical device background with regards to Software Design/development, that will be especially valuable/desirable, however those without can still apply.
This work will include socket level networking, UI design, implementation/tweaking, and eventually will help to develop solutions to help get the data out on various other devices, including but not limited to various mobile platforms. Much of the work here will be adding functionality to the UI, including various messaging platforms ( cisco, phones, etc.).
The ideally qualified profile will include:
- EXPERIENCE: We need at least 5 years of industry experience
- SOFTWARE/Languages: We need those with at least 2 years of .NET, and a solid understanding of C#, ASP.NET, XML, Web Services, Windows Forms, Visual Studio, Object Oriented Design, SQL Server and UI Development as a whole.
- MEDICAL DEVICES: Those with previous working history in an FDA 510K environment, specifically with CFR 21, will be highly desired.
- Other applicable experience includes Embedded systems experience, Networking ( Socket level), Linux development, RH-SWEngineerCT, CyberCoders
