If you are a Web Engineer who specializes in Open Source Software Development (PHP, Python, Ruby, and a framework like LAMP, Django, Rails) and have experience architecting and building scalable systems, then please read on. What's required for this role:
- Experience with at least one of the following: LAMP/PHP, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails
- A heavy background with MySQL
- Experience in Agile environments doing rapid prototyping
- Strength in building scalable web-based applications
- Frontend experience with Javascript and libraries/frameworks like jQuery, Node.JS, Ext JS, Backbone.js
- Verifiable contributions to the Open Source Community
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent
We'd be thrilled if you also have:
- Experience in mobile, eCommerce, social media
- HTML5, MongoDB, Hadoop
