MySQL Database Administrator (DBA)

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a MySQL DBA to join our client in Cupertino, CA.

Job Overview:

- Our client is seeking a MySQL Database Administrator responsible for database creations and replications.

Job Responsibilities

- Detailed knowledge of multi-tier architecture in Client Server environment.
- Create primary database objects (tables, views, indexes).
- Installing, configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining development and production environments.
- Write data import and maintenance scripts.
- Convert data from previous database versions.
- Develop a deployment and maintenance plan for deliverables.

Job Qualifications:

- In-depth knowledge of MySQL, and Access DBMS systems.
- Five (5) plus years of database administration experience.
- Five (5) plus years of database development experience, specifically Client Server database applications.
- Proven documentation and application deployment skills

Nice to have Job Qualifications:

- Expert-level skills in MSDE applications such as C++/C#.
- Oracle DBA skills
