As a Network Solutions Consulting Associate at McGladrey, you will work with mid-sized businesses in diverse industries and receive hands-on client experience with direct access to executive management. Working on numerous projects per year, you will work on several pieces of any particular assignment -- not just one small part -- and you will feel a great sense of accomplishment when you are done. McGladrey's Network Solutions Consultants work with client companies in the installation, implementation and support of a network infrastructure. This position offers diversity in clients and projects and provides for personal and professional growth. Responsibilities include:
- Designing and installing network infrastructures, including equipment, servers, personal computers and software at client sites
- Providing day to day technical support from workstations to servers
- Consulting with clients about technology enhancements
- Other duties as assigned

New staff members attend a national, New Hire Training program with peers from around the country. Associates attend various Continuing Professional Education classes throughout the year to keep abreast of the latest accounting trends. Also, Staff will have the opportunity to work as a team member on diverse client engagements to include manufacturing, real estate, construction, financial institution, not-for-profit, healthcare, and private equity group clients.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field - Ability to travel to client sites and willingness to be on the road for up to a week at a time for a new client deployment.Preferred Qualifications- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong computer and problem solving skills- Familiarity with the following technologies:o Microsoft Networking and Email (Active Directory and Exchange)o Storage Area Networking (SAN)o Virtualization (VMWare and Citrix)o Cisco Networking- Ability to work as an effective member of a team- Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment- Client focused- Ability to multitask
