Purpose of the position
Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Endeca Search as part of the overall solution.
Responsibilities include:
Design, Configure and Implement all aspects of the Oracle Endeca Search platform for web site integration.
Configure manipulate, and extract data from the Endeca pipeline programmatically using JAVA/JDBC and available Endeca tools.
Implement the appropriate Endeca index configuration, Experience Manager templates, and Search interfaces using XML and other tools.
Develop and document all functional aspects and of the Endeca application in Java and JSP to ensure they meet all functional requirements.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering or the equivalent in education and/or experience
2+ years of hands-on Oracle Endeca platform development experience
3+ years of E-commerce website development experience
3+ years of experience with Java, JEE, and Web Services.
Preferred qualifications:
3+ of hands-on Oracle Endeca platform development and Oracle ATG Commerce framework
Development experience in an Eclipse, Hudson,Ant and Oracle SQL environment
Experience with Apache Web Server and jBoss Application Server environments.
