Business Intelligence Business Analyst

Primary function of this Business Intelligence Business Analyst is related to report and dashboard analysis. The BIBA will work with the Reporting and Data Warehouse teams to analyze existing report changes and requests for new reports and dashboards. S/He will work with end users to build the proper business requirements, coordinate with the data warehouse and reporting teams to determine feasibility and level of effort, work with the Project Manager to develop appropriate timelines, and then help shepherd the work through all phases of the system development life cycle. A Bachelor's degree in a related area and 2-4 years of experience in the field is desired. The BIBA will report to a BI Manager. The position will be located at the CompuCom headquarters in Dallas, TX. This is not a telecommute position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Reporting - must have experience as a BA in a reporting environment, 2-4 years
• Working with end-users through the requirement definition, status meetings, and end user testing cycles.
• Some knowledge of SQL/Oracle SQL - no coding required but exposure to SQL required
• Exposure to testing reports
• Must be detail oriented and data minded
• Experience with Oracle PROC and Oracle RDBMS

PREFERRED

• Experience with MicroStrategy Business Intelligence Suite
• Experience with Executive Dashboards, specifically with the development of business requirements and/or design of those dashboards.
• Previous project management/project coordinator experience

This contract position is expected to be 7 months in duration.
