About the Opportunity
Perform tasks related to full software development life-cycle. This includes planning, analyzing requirement, designing solution developing code using Oracle10g, custom ETL tools using complex PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, SQL Scripts, SQL* Loader and Unix K-Shell Scripts.
- UNIX Shell Scripting knowledge is a must. Prior work expreience with Connect Direct NDM is a plus.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle including data analysis, data modeling and data testing to be able to write quality unit tests and assist the data validation process.
- Development skills must include sound knowledge and experience in Database Design and Data modeling. Experience in SQL tuning. Experience in Cognos BI tools and building Cubes/Reports is a plus.
- Experience working with oracle objects such as varrays, object type is a must.
- Work according to approved statements of requirements and detailed specification. Create technical design documents, codes and unit tests all deliverables. Work with the Quality Assurance group to support their testing efforts.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Software development arena.
- Development skills must include knowledge and experience in SQL, PL/SQL, ETL tools, Reporting tools is required.
- Oracle Application Server 10g, and Oracle ADF/JSP using JDeveloper 11g is a plus. Knowledge and experience in ADF BC frame is a plus. EJB3 knowledge and wiorkign with Large Databases/Dataset is a plus.
