What you need for this position:
- 7+ years of database administration experience.
- Expert knowledge of SQL Server 2005/2008 (Experience with 2008 is preferred).
- Expert knowledge of Replication and mirroring.
- Knowledge of setting up SQL infrastructure for other distribution centers.
- Proficiency in T-SQL for programming stored procedures and triggers.
- Experience with implementing, maintaining, tuning, and deploying SQL solutions.
- Extensive performance tuning and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with database backup and recovery.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
What you'll be doing - You will:
- Provide general database administration support for production and internal databases including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Provide 24x7 support for production infrastructure.
- Responsible for planning, analysis, implementation and supporting of database and data warehouse systems.
- Work with software engineers on schema design and SQL optimization.
