About the Opportunity
Project Manager:
The Project Manager (PM) will report to the Sr. Project Manager or Director of Project Delivery and will work closely with our client relationship manager, account manager, the client brand team and agency partners to understand consumer marketing tactics, business rules for campaigns, and timelines for execution. The PM will need to translate marketing program business rules into the operational specs and project tasks to set up campaigns and reports, and to identify any new data implications to support the marketing program. The PM is responsible for creating test plans, developing quality assurance methodologies, preparing campaign and reporting documentation, leading the client in user acceptance testing for the campaigns and reports, identifying and researching data discrepancies, and escalating issues to other team members where necessary. The PM is expected to thoroughly understand the marketing database data model, specifically those tables/attributes that support marketing program execution and measurement for the brand. When there are new data implications to a campaign or program, the PM will work with the database team to implement any new data management processes, new vendor feeds or new survey data.
Strong client management and project management skills are required. The ability to define, manage, and track the project tasks and scope definition to get campaigns and reports implemented with the technical team is critical. Client management responsibilities may include leading weekly marketing operations calls with client, data vendors, and agencies; Identifying and communicating project related risks and possible solutions to Project Management, Account Management and client; Proactively identifying areas for improving marketing processes, and operational efficiency; and Prioritizing project requests and managing client expectations
This position requires an individual who can come up to speed quickly on new projects, work well under pressure, multi-task, learn the business (marketing programs, tactics, and business rules) quickly, and be proactive with the client and agencies driving toward decision/resolution on open issues. We want a person who is always seeking the business context around an operational request. Attention to detail, strong listening skills, and good verbal and written communications are required.
