Hotels.com is growing its world class search marketing team and is looking for a strong, data driven marketing manager with a passion for online. The Manager position is a key role in the global team, managing our NA search marketing business and overseeing a team of specialists and analysts. They will take responsibility for developing and executing a marketing strategy to grow our search business across the region, working alongside a number of senior internal and external partners. The position will have regular and frequent interaction with senior leadership across our hotel lodging group, and must maintain alignment and partnership with broader business priorities. This role will have financial responsibility for search marketing campaigns for a portfolio of countries and destinations across the entire NAregion. The global search marketing team is a critical function, central to the strategic objectives of the business in the future.
Please note: This role requires direct experience SEM experience as an Analyst or other quantitative SEM role. You will be leading a team of SEM Analysts so it is important that you have the experience to mentor and lead the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a regional marketing strategy for growing the search marketing business across the NAmarkets
- Manage an annual marketing budget significantly over $20m
- Deliver a data driven, quantitative approach to search marketing, coaching the team of direct reports to build and improve the search campaigns
- Manage quarterly financial forecasting and performance, contributing a substantial proportion of regional business targets
- Partner with senior stakeholders across product, supply and broader marketing to deliver customer experience enhancements that benefit the search marketing channel
- Manage the relationship with external partners such as Google to advance the sophistication of our search marketing programme and trial new product features and approaches

Requirements/
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years in banking, consulting or marketing positions
- Experience with Marin, Omniture, Google Analytics
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Google Ad Words required
- Proven record of business analysis driven and fact based decision making
- Experience in a business or customer facing position
- Project management or team leadership experience
- Management consultant level written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects/responsibilities
