ABOUT THE POSITION

GTN Technical Staffing is currently seeking a SQL Server DBA for a Direct-Hire opportunity in Dallas, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting MS SQL Servers in ensuring their high performance, process optimization, solution development, problem resolution, availability and security.  The SQL Server DBA will be responsible for ensuring high availability and performance of SQL Server. Work to ensure SQL Server and its related components high resilience and provide performance tuning. The SQL Server DBA will proactively monitor and resolve issues with various SQL Server components/subsystems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime. The SQL Server DBA will be responsible for troubleshooting and problem resolution of SQL Server related development. The SQL Server DBA will be responsible for improvement and maintenance of SQL Server infrastructure that includes migration/upgrades. The SQL Server DBA will be responsible for implementation and release of ongoing database changes according to agreed timeframes and costs.
