UX Designer - E-commerce
Immediate opportunity: August 2013 start date.
WNA is seeking highly experienced UX Designers and Lead UX Designer to translate business eCommerce requirements into an innovative and rewarding user experience. Required skills include:
Expert understanding of user-centered design methodology, information architecture, user interface/interaction design, and brand image management
Expert knowledge of user research methodology and best practices, and the ability to understand and translate user research findings into design solutions
Strong people skills and the ability to function as a project leader as well as an individual contributor
Strong verbal, written, and visual presentation skills
Advanced experience in creating low- to high-fidelity prototypes
Duties Include:
Analyze user interaction and interface requirements for an eCommerce B2B and B2C portal
Evangelize UX design importance to cross-functional teams
Collaborate effectively with an agile, multi-disciplinary team to evaluate the feasibility of proposed designs and champion UX in the face of technical constraints
Help lead a design team to incorporate the user experience strategy into a developing product
Create flows and wireframes as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate UI designs
Build, refine, and test UI Mockups.
Help leverage innovative interaction concepts including:
Multipurpose workflows
Responsive layouts
Consistent user experience
Required Experience: 6+ years' experience in user interface design. Some travel may be required.
Location : Dallas, Texas (must be local; may consider candidates who can immediately relocate to Dallas from other US cities)
Compensation: $95K-$150K commensurate with skills and experience.
Timing/Duration: August, 2013 Start. Permanent position or multi-year contract.
