You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, tuning and ongoing support of HP NonStop and IBM AS400 and third party Operating System and Utility software on the HP NonStop and IBM AS400 computer systems.

Maintains systems software to ensure efficient and effective utilization to support business processes and meet objectives.
Performs tasks related to installation, maintenance, upgrade and configuration for system level software.
Designs, codes, tests and implements exits and programs to automate, customize and enhance system usage.
Maintains accurate records of software inventory and versions, installation and maintenance procedures.
Administers and monitors computer program that controls user access to system.
Monitors system for performance and capacity.
Reviews productivity reports and problem records to evaluate performance of computer system.
Identifies, recommends, and applies performance tuning modifications to system software (while complying with established change control procedures) to assure peak performance.
Writes technical bulletins, memos, change requests, presentations and standards for use by the Information Services department.
Coordinates installation of computer operating system software and tests and modifies software to increase technical infrastructure reliability.
Interfaces directly with software and hardware vendors as needed to support and exploit products.
Provides technical guidance and problem resolution to Operations, Applications Development and Help Desk staff.
