Programmer Analyst (Sales Audit)

You will work in a Corporate Office environment, supporting our retail stores, with net sales of $3 billion/year. You will have the unique opportunity of maintaining our Sales Audit systems and processes, which is a key financial system for our company.

You will code, test and implement Sales Audit application system software. You will analyze production problems and apply technical expertise to resolve production issues. As well as develop and maintain technical specifications, develop business specifications and knowledge by working with the user community to define business requirements.

Desired Skills and Experience include the following:

Solid understanding of NonStop (Tandem) concepts and environment
Expertise with Cobol & TACL
Expertise with various file access methods on the NonStop (Tandem)
Ability to analyze and develop SQL queries
Good communication and customer interface/relationship skills
Ability/discipline to adhere to standards and to use SDLC best practices
Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player
Experience in a Retail or Financial Systems environment a plus
Microsoft .NET experience a plus
