Senior Business Analyst - SAP Business Objects

Prestigious enterprise firm in Deerfied, IL seeks a Sr Business Analyst within SAP Business Objects.

This role serves as the conduit between the customer community and the development team to develop requirement specifications.  Work with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. This person is technically capable to dig into issues in financial systems to resolve issues and/or anomalies.

• Manage and maintain budgets for hardware, ad track project budgets for the NA team.
• Translate business requirements into proposed IT services & solutions
• Design & implement IT processes and frameworks
• Ongoing support and training 
• Assist with budget compliance
• Vendor Management
• Elicit requirements through analysis and working with business partners
• Define business processes, conduct workshops 
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the business requirements documents
• Utilize enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required.
• Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
• Strong analytical and project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
• Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
• Assist IT Director, NA on various projects
• Work with IT internal auditors on resolving issues
• Assist with a systems audit review
• Ensure master data is accurate for reporting
• Work with Global Data Governance team to align master data 

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse groups, managers, and subject matter experts.
• Ability to align IT service offerings with business strategies, goals, and objectives
• Ability to translate business requirements into proposed IT services & solutions
• Ability to develop process flows, swim lanes, metrics, and performance measurements
• Ability to present and discuss technical information in into business speak
• Solid project management skills, especially in a cross-functional environment
• IT process design & implementation 
• IT documentation (development & management)
• Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• SAP and Business Objects
• Business intelligence experience
• Some system audit experience preferred

 Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree or educational equivalent
• 2- 3 years experience in similar position/role
• Must have SAP and Business Objects experience
