Primary Position Responsibilities/Description:
We are currently searching for candidates with Security Intelligence and Research Analyst/Librarian backgrounds to join the organization. This person will be responsible for researching a variety of security issues, threats, and incidents across all industries imaginable. Investigation results will be documented in reports and briefings requiring strong writing skills and an attention to required details. Due to the time sensitivity around this work, documented results are expected/measured in HOURS and NOT DAYS.
In addition, the analyst will be responsible for helping create ways to conduct research and investigations across normal public web and dark web information repositories. A successful candidate's research skill cannot begin and end with Google or other general public search engines.

Technical Skills Required:
Strong understanding of technology, information, and physical security controls and weaknesses.
Scripting (eg Python, PERL, shells, etc.) and REGEX in order to interact with raw data.
Can function in a Windows and/or Linux desktop environment to include basic troubleshooting of their system.
Previous working experience in an IT environment, preferably in a technical role.
Other beneficial skill sets (not required):
Multiple languages (descending order) - Chinese, Eastern European, Farsi, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Handy with a set of lock picks.
Minimum Team Requirements:
Successful candidates will need to have:
Associates/BA/BS degree with course work in Computer Science, Business IT, or other IT related degrees or equivalent experience. Higher professional certification(s) are a plus. Candidate will have several consecutive years of recent hands research experience to include a track record of increasing responsibility.
Strong writing skills and the ability to turn investigation and research results into reports that are understandable at all levels of the client organization is required.
Ability to communicate, in person, with all levels of an organization. This includes being able to inform and/or present to non-technical audiences and translating engagement deliverables, so that they can be understood by wide ranging audiences. To be able to deliver both good and bad news in a manner reflective of the situation and the audience.
A drive to self-educate and a thirst to acquire new technology knowledge, and simply be the best.
